Christ the King Chapel is a recent church plant with the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA). Our call from the Lord is to establish a church with the unswerving mission and passion to fulfill the Great Commission as found in Matthew 28:16-20. It is here that the Gospel of Christ, which is centered solely on the message and knowledge of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified (1 Cor. 2:2), is the defining attribute of Christ the king Chapel. In addition, we are called by God’s Word to build a church of genuine Christians for the purpose of worshipping our Triune God, equipping the saints for their works of service, and to build up a body of believers in Christ in the unity of the faith through our increasing knowledge of him and fellowship with one another (Eph. 4). As we increase we will aim to establish distinct ministries, such as Bible studies, leadership development, fellowship groups, congregational prayer meetings, outreach endeavors and so forth; all to fulfill the desire for our transformation into increasing measures of holiness and godly joy in our lives. While being attentive to guard Christ the King Chapel against becoming simply a program driven, which generally leads an eventual capitulation of the godless culture in which we live, our aim is to be singularly faithful to Jesus Christ as our King and Risen Savior, and His call to proclaim His message and truth through our speech and lives to the world.
